Quebec allows 10-person Christmas gatherings and extends high school break by 1 week
Quebec will permit 10-person gatherings around Christmas from December 24 to 27. But in exchange for that, the province is asking Quebecers to stay in quarantine for a week before and after the party period.
However, anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should not attend any gatherings, the premier said.
All this means the province’s students will have to learn remotely for 2 to 4 days before the start of the Christmas holidays.
But in my opinion, I would rather avoid risking the lives of my family and friends. Who cares if we can’t have a real-life secret santa or a dinner party? Be creative. Do a virtual version! All in all, though, the most important thing is safety.
