PIZZA OR SUSHI?
Pizza is an Italian dish. The traditional one is made of cheese, bread, and tomato sauce. You could also put other stuff on it like sausages, salad, etc.
This exceptional food was created in the city of Naples. Although Italy is regarded as the origin of pizza, its roots go all the way back to the ancient Roman, Greek and Persian empires. The records from those times show lots of distinctive varieties of bread in rounded and flat shapes,
with various garnishes and sauces on top.
Sushi is a traditional Japanese dish which is made out of mostly fish, rice, seaweed and sometimes vegetables. Sushi in Japanese means sour-tasting. Hanaya Yohei originally invented sushi around 1800.
Did you know that sushi originated outside of Japan? Although the Japanese get full credit for what we call sushi today, the inspiration for sushi is thought to have started in Southeast Asia. Narezushi, fermented fish wrapped in sour rice, originated somewhere around the Mekong River before spreading into China and later Japan. The modern-day concept of sushi was invented in Japan by Hanaya Yohei sometime around the end of the Edo period sometime in the mid-1800s.
